The competition proposal for the urban study of Hronov focuses on creating a new part of the town that naturally integrates with its surroundings. The proposal establishes a rich network of public spaces, sports facilities, and playgrounds, including a new park between Husova Street and the Metuje River.
The compact semi-enclosed block development is designed to respond to its surroundings and create a pleasant environment for residents. A rich mix of different types of housing and their clever placement creates a structure that meets the needs of all generations and allows for the emergence of resilient development with a balanced and strong community of residents. The newly designed retirement home is complemented by starter housing units for young families. A sports park is planned between the new development and the river.
The landscape design develops the current landscape structure and focuses on the sensitive blending of the surrounding landscape with the town and the creation of a resilient blue-green infrastructure.
